Reach A Regulator

Terms of use

Last updated: July 2026

These terms apply when you use Reach A Regulator. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the site.

What this site is

Reach A Regulator is a free directory of government agencies that accept consumer complaints, with general information about how to file. That's the whole product. We are independent and not affiliated with any government agency.

What this site is not

  • Not legal advice. Nothing here is legal advice or a recommendation about your particular situation, and using the site does not create an attorney-client relationship. See our disclaimer.
  • Not a filing service. We don't file complaints for you, receive them, or track their status. You file directly with the agency, on its own website.
  • Not a guarantee. We can't promise an agency will take your complaint, act on it, or get you a result.

Accuracy

We check agency details before publishing them and re-check periodically, and we'd rather publish nothing than publish a guess. But agencies change their websites, phone numbers, and procedures without notice, so we provide this information as-is and without warranty. Always confirm on the agency's own site before relying on it.

If you find an error, please email hello@reacharegulator.com.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content in bulk without permission
  • Attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure
  • Submit false information through the complaint-tracking form

The complaint-tracking form

Submitting that form is optional. If you do, you agree we may email you follow-up questions about your complaint and may publish anonymized, aggregate statistics that include your response. We will not publish your name, email, or identifying details, and we will not quote your story unless you separately opt in. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how to have it deleted.

Third-party sites

Links to government and other third-party websites are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices. Following a link means their terms apply, not ours.

Content and trademarks

The text, design, and organization of this site belong to Reach A Regulator. Agency names, seals, and trademarks belong to those agencies, and their appearance here does not imply endorsement or affiliation. Public agency information — names, addresses, phone numbers, and links — is factual and freely usable; our written descriptions and page organization are not.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Reach A Regulator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site — including any outcome of a complaint you file, any deadline you miss, or any agency information that has changed since we checked it. The site is provided "as is" and "as available."

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
